The Guild USA Standard Series D-40 acoustic guitar combines a classic playing feel with first-rate contemporary build quality. This high-quality dreadnought features an all-solid build where the top is made of Sitka spruce and the body is made of African mahogany, resulting in warm, rich sound as well as the clear bass response shaped by scalloped X-bracing.

The D-40 Standard: Vintage Feel & Nitro Finish

The vintage feel of this Guild guitar stems from a set-in, C-profile mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard furnished with a tried-and-tested, 12-inch radius and twenty Jescar 43080 frets. Add that to the 25.625-inch scale length and super-thin nitrocellulose finish, and a satisfyingly tight sound and feel are simply a given. Deluxe Humidified Wood Case included.
