The Roland Mobile AC is an ultra-compact yet powerful 5 Watt stereo amplifier based on the Mobile Cube but designed for acoustic guitar. It can be used in your living room, at rehearsal, on the street or on small stages to give the volume of your acoustic guita a boost. The Mobile AC can even be used as a personal monitor during larger gigs. The amplifier itself is equipped with a microphone input and connectors for MP3 players, iPods, etc. As such, you can play guitar and sing along with backing tracks or your favourite album. This portable all-rounder features two 4-inch speakers and comes with three highly detailed built-in effects. Still, it's small enough to fit into your backpack and light enough for a child to carry.

The User-Friendliness of the Roland Mobile AC

Operating the Roland Mobile AC is exceedingly easy. The simple and intuitive controls offer three volume knobs for your guitar, microphone and external audio source. A tone knob is also provided, allowing you to add a touch of darkness or clarity to your guitar sound. If you think your guitar or your vocals sound a bit dry, you can add a variable amount of reverb with the reverb knob. Hit the 'chorus' button to activate the legendary, sultry Roland stereo chorus sound then, tith the 'wide' button, you can add some depth to your master mix for a professional end result.

All Ins and Outs

The Roland Mobile AC is equipped with two separate 6.35mm (¼") jacks, which enable you to plug in your electro-acoustic guitar and microphone. Devices such as an MP3 player or drum machine can be connected using the mini-jack input or the two RCA inputs. If you need to rehearse with more privacy, simply plug a pair of headphones into the mini-jack headphone output. The Roland Mobile AC is powered by six AA alkaline batteries and fitted with a carry strap. This little amp has an input for an optional power adapter and a built-in stand adapter so it can even be mounted on a microphone stand.
