Ik heb deze snaren in 2009 op mijn akoestische Cort basgitaar gelegd, ze zijn hevig verkleurd, de vellen hangen erbij en toch klinken ze nog steeds heel behoorlijk. Het instrument wordt niet dagelijks gebruikt en ook niet wekelijks, maar dan nog klinkende snaren heel behoorlijk. Heb nu toch een nieuwe set gekocht, want ik wil op mijn akoestiche bas geen ander snaren dan deze Elixers.......kan ik de eerstkomende 10 jaar weer vooruit

Snelle leverling en een goede kwaliteit snarenset.

"Bronze" snaren klinken aanzienlijk anders dan de meest voorkomende "phosphor bronze" snaren. Dit is de eerste keer dat bronze probeer. Elixir omschrijft deze klank als Bright - Smooth en daar ben ik het volledig mee eens. Deze klank geeft je akoestische bas iets meer een gitaarklank dan een basklank.
Hierdoor heb ik toch voorkeur voor de phosphor. Phosphor levert iets meer volume en punch.
