General

Since the California Series would be incomplete without one, Fender presents a souped-up edition of the Kingman Bass. This vintage-flavoured electro-acoustic bass features a sweet and old-school, moustache-style Modern Viking bridge, a slim C-profile neck and a shortened 30.3 inch scale length, reducing the tension and lightening the load for the fret-hand. The sustain and tuning stability are also improved by an up-to-date GraphTech NuBone nut, and to guarantee natural and organic amplified sound, this Fender model has been fully kitted out with a Fishman Presys+ bass preamp and piezo pickup, completing an ultra-comfortable and affordable gigging mate. The Fender Kingman Bass comes complete with a form-fitting gig bag.

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
