General

If you're looking for the playing comfort of an acoustic accordion with all the possibilities that a digital version can offer, Roland's FR-4xb RD V-Accordion is for you. This great-quality, lightweight digital instrument has a bellow with a high-sensitivity pressure sensor for a fast response. A wide range of sounds include 100 accordions, as well as a huge number of orchestral sounds, organs and even drums. With built-in speakers and line and headphones outputs, this limited edition FR-4xb RD in red is perfect for use at home, in the studio and on the stage.

V-Accordion: buttons, MIDI and sound options

This V-Accordion has 92 buttons for the right hand and 120 buttons for the left hand. With a MIDI port on board, you can connect other MIDI devices like the BK-7m backing module. Use the headphone socket for when you want to practise in silence and the line output for when you want to amplify your sound or record it. If you don't want to use either of those options, simply rely on the built-in sound system that features two speakers and a tweeter.

Sounds and effects

Whereas an acoustic accordion is only capable of producing one sound, the FR-4xb opens up a whole new world of possibilities. As well as 100 accordion sounds, you have 162 orchestral sounds, 32 organ sounds, and 3 drum sounds at your disposal. On top of that, you get reverb, chorus and rotary effects, and switching between different music styles is quick and easy too. The USB port makes it easy to playback and record music. A power adapter or AA batteries can be used to power the Roland FR-4xb RD.
