General

The Nova III 96 is one of the largest button accordions from instrument manufacturing giant, Hohner. This is a B-Griff instrument (a little rarer than the usual C-Griff accordions) and is gifted with clarity of sound and refined mechanics. Eternally dependable Hohner have redeveloped the buttons for an enhanced response and polished action, while the unusual circular holes that punctuate the grille give the instrument a unique, balanced sound.

B-Griff: The Hohner Signature

This Hohner Nova III 96 is fitted with 72 buttons (44 tones), in the rare B-Griff configuration, meaning that the first and third row of buttons have been flipped, placing the B at the bottom, instead of the C. Hence the term 'B-Griff': A system mainly used in the folk music of Eastern Europe. This three-voice accordion has 5 registers and 96 bass notes with the pick of three bass registers. The Hohner Nova III 96 comes complete with a bag.
