General

Stanton's RM 416 is their latest 19-inch rack mixer that is great for mobile and club DJs or venues like pubs and restaurants. It is highly versatile thanks to its many inputs and outputs that include three microphone inputs (two on the front with their own 3-band EQ) as well as four channels with 3-band equalizers. Three of these channels feature a line/phono switch. A headphone output is provided for, as well as numerous other outputs. The Stanton RM416 has four balanced outputs and a subwoofer outlet with a crossover filter. Additionally, it is equipped with a USB interface that allows you to play and record your mixes.

This incredibly versatile mixer features a rugged metal housing that is 19-inch wide and 4U high.

Native Instruments' Traktor Now Fully Supported by OS X El Capitan

Native Instruments has announced that Traktor and all related software and hardware are now fully supported by Apple's latest operating system, OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan. Please note, however, that the Traktor 2.10.0 installer is still dependent on the latest drivers. When you install Traktor 2.10.0, this means you'll have to download the latest drivers in order to get it to function properly. To do so, visit the NI Service Center, click 'Update' and then 'Show Details' in the 'Driver and Patch Downloads' section.

Serato DJ 1.8 Now Supported By OS X El Capitan

Serato has announced that their software is now supported by Apple's latest OS, El Capitan (version 10.11.1). You can download the latest version of Serato DJ here. There are still a few bugs, but Serato has indicated that they aim to fix those as soon as possible. Here you can read about the issues that still affect Pioneer, Rane, Numark, Novation and Reloop hardware. As mentioned above, Serato is working hard to fix any and all problems.

NAMM 2016: Denon DJ Unveils the MCX8000

This 4-channel DJ mixer can be used as a standalone unit, but it's also great as a MIDI controller for Serato DJ and Denon's music management package Engine.
