General

This is an excellent speaker for professional DIY applications. You can use it in a closed mid/bass cabinet or as a woofer in a vented housing. It has a very high power capacity of 400 watts AES and an excellent sensitivity of 100 dB. The speaker produces mids and bass with a frequency response of 48 Hertz to 4 kilohertz.

Ik heb deze gebruikt om een Electro-Voice ZX4 te repareren. De sub daarin was kapot, de EVS-15SF. Nu heb ik dus een originele en een gerepareerde naast elkaar hangen.

De gerepareerde (dus met Eminence Delta) heeft een stuk minder bas, maar een stuk meer middentonen dan de EV ZX4. Nu ik ze zo naast elkaar hoor, denk ik dat de ene juist te veel heeft en de andere te weinig. De combinatie van de twee is prima!

Krachtige woofer, maar ik zou niet aanraden hem te gebruiken zonder low-pass filter.
