Plug your guitar and microphone into the Digitech Vocalist Live Harmony and this effects pedal will create a three-part vocal harmony based on the guitar chords you're playing! This ingenious bit of musIQ technology, developed by Digitech, 'hears' exactly which chords you're playing and adds two extra voices to your vocals. They are essentially copies of the lead vox, but at different pitches to create and produce a perfect corresponding harmony. The pedal also features a reliable XLR line and instrument input.
The practicality of the Vocalist Live Harmony
The Vocalist Live Harmony is surprisingly handy. Even when you sing a longer note while you change chords on your guitar, this stomp box adjusts the harmony vocals to match. It's like having two backing vocalists with you at all times! This device gives your band or solo gig a fuller sound, and you can experiment to your heart's content with it. The pitch correction feature is also very practical. Hook up an MP3 player or smartphone using the mini jack input, and you can sing along with your own playlist!
Effects and extra features
This pedal isn't only suitable for automatically generating harmonies - it's also chock full of other cool effects. The legendary Lexicon reverb, for example, and a compression function for more uniform volume without disruptive peaks. Some other interesting extras include the Gold Channel (for a quick change in tone colour), Sound Check (record a vocal line and loop it so you can adjust the effect levels), and the Looper (for endless vocal and instrument stacking up to 70 seconds long).

Jammer genoeg moet je wel weer de extra stage pedal apart erbij kopen (zoals altijd).
En de usb kabel zat er niet bij maar had dat gelukkig al van me Fender MIII Amp.
De andere goedkopere Vocalist versie heeft alleen zang mogelijkheden. Deze is 100x beter omdat je gitaar en zang tegelijk heb (portable); erg dynamisch! De Live Adapt van de Vocalist Live Harmony is daarbij ook slim want het past zich als het ware aan je gitaarspel en zangstem. En er zijn genoeg outputs en inputs om goeie opnames te maken op je PC (of op stage). De gain werkt uitstekend; je kan verder van je microfoon afstaan en dus met opnames is het zeer handig om het geluid op level/nivo te brengen. De compressie (the gold channel werkt perfect hievoor) opties werken natuurlijk - heus - goed genoeg. Dus voor volume kweken kom je, denk ik, niet te tekort.
De gratis downloadble software (op digitech) is handig voor het managen van je usersets e.a. sets en het is makkelijk te resetten naar factory settings.
Mijn mening:
Ikzelf raad het niet aan voor metal gitaristen of in die stromingen.
Ik vind wel dat je toch al wat ervaring moet hebben op muzikaal nivo om het uiterste uit de talloze opties van de Vocalist Live Harmony pedal te krijgen.
Alleen jammer dat ie nu na een week goedkoper is geworden.
En jammer dat er voor die prijs geen Nederlandse beschrijving bij zit....
