General
Whether you want to become the next Nigel Kennedy, Nicola Benedetti or Itzhak Perlman, Fazley's VI-800 is an affordable full-size violin to get you started on. It's suitable for adults as well as children from around 11 years of age. It comes complete with a bow, rosin and a case with a soft plush interior to protect your instrument during transportation. The top is made of spruce while the back and sides are made of maple. A pear wood fingerboard completes the picture. The VI-800 has a lovely dark brown finish and comes with strings already attached.
Fazley VI-800: 4/4 violin
This full-sized violin is suitable for adults or children with arm length of approximately 60 cm. For younger children a smaller size violin like 3/4, 1/2, 1/3, 1/8, or 1/10 is recommended. For a violin, the arm length should be measured from the middle of the palm of the hand to under the chin. This will give you the length that will allow the scroll to be held in a curved hand, with the elbow slightly bent and fingers pointing towards the face. If the measurement falls between two sizes, it's recommended to go with the smallest size.

Hou de kam goed in de gaten wanneer je de snaren aanspant: hij moet loodrecht blijven staan, want anders schiet hij er tussenuit.
De stemschroeven zijn inderdaad niet zo stabiel. Je kan ze beter goed vastzetten op iets lager dan de toon en ze met fijnstemmers stemmen.
Les gros chevilles sont tout simplement "posées" dans le trous alors si vous les tourner pour accorder elles se détournent et désaccordent de suite. Il faut trouver une façon de mieux les rentrer avant et j'ai peur de les tapper avec un marteau!
Une chose que je ne comprend pas de tout c'est que le violon est équipé avec un seul ajusteur sur la corde E. Donc, pas de possibilité d'accorder l'instrument parfaitement. Les autres modèles sur ce site sont équipé avec un ajusteur pour chaque corde.
Si j'avais su ce dernier je n'aurais jamais acheté. Dommage.
Juste il pourrait mettre un petit livre expliquant comment bien positionner les cordes après le déballage.
Appart aucun problème.

Het is een goede viool om mee te beginnen
Ik kocht dit instrument als instap intsrumen om te kijken of dit wat voor mij was, als het niet was voor ervaring met andere muziek instrumenten en een beetje uitleg online die ik wist te vergaren, had ik er geen enkel geluid uit gekregen.
MAAAR, het geluid DAT ik eruit kreeg was vals! Waarom? Omdat het stem systeem geen systeem is! Om mijn snaren in de juiste stemming te houden moest ik de stemschroeven verder in het hout slaan met een hamer, maarja, hoe verder het het hout in werd geslagen des te valser de tonen werden. Moet ik maar weer opnieuw gaan stemmen, beetje jammer dat wanneer je dat probeert je de "stemschroeven" weer uit het hout trekt met de spanning die op de snaren staan.
En dan ook nog 15 euro uitgeven om de volgende dag om mijn gekozen tijdstip voor mijn deur te staan. Maarja dat kon ook al niet goed gaan. Het kwam een dag later binnen dan wanneer ik het zou laten bezorgen zonder extra bezorg kosten. Laatste keer geweest dat ik iets instrument gerelateerd koop via bax. Is nou al de zoveelste keer dat het niet klopt.
Perfecte viool voor beginners.
Ik had nog nooit een viool aangeraakt, maar wilde het in mijn vrije tijd een beetje leren spelen.
Ik wilde niet meteen voor de aller goedkoopste gaan, omdat ik bang was dat ik dan er na een paar maanden op uit gekeken zou zijn.
Op internet even opgezocht hoe ik de viool speelklaar kon maken, na een uurtje was het dan eindelijk gelukt.
Stemmen van de snaren vind ik zelf wat minder, het gaat stroef en krijg ze niet 100% goed gestemd.
Maar zoals ik al zei, perfect voor beginners die niet zeker weten of ze dit iets vinden.
Lekker goedkoop en klinkt niet eens zo slecht. En als je het niks vind, hoef je je niet schuldig te voelen dat je er teveel geld aan hebt uitgegeven.
