The Meteor Mic is a compact USB studio condenser microphone that can be used for recording vocals and instruments in your home studio as well as for home videos, interviews or Skype and Facetime calls.
Samson Meteor Mic: Great Sound and Durability
This condenser mic records audio in high quality, as it features the second largest diaphragm (25 mm) going when it comes to USB microphones. It also features a 16-bit 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz audio interface, and can be installed without additional drivers.
Versatile and Compact USB Microphone
The Meteor is compact and therefore easy to transport. Its three built-in-legs tuck in neatly once you're done and a stereo headphone output can be used for monitoring and at the front you'll find a practical mute switch. This smart little microphone can be connected to any PC or Mac and with the Apple Camera Connection Kit you can connect it to an iPad or iPhone.

ik weet niet waarom dit product zo'n hoog beoordeling heeft gekregen.
Hij neemt veel ruis binnen. Signal-to-noise is blijkbaar niet zo goed.
de enige instellig waarmee ik kan spelen was de Gain van de microfoon on Windows te verlagen.
maar dit leidt tot minder volume ook. De geluid werd dus ook zwakker.
Verder ziet er geen special software waarmee men de ruis kan onderdrukken.

Ik heb dit gevonden in deze Samsom microfoon. Ik gebruik hem dagelijks. Door zijn cardiod spectrum neemt hij weinig onnodig achtergrond geluid op. Dus gebruik ik hem veelal ook zonder koptelefoon. Als je veel vergaderd is het heerlijk om niet de hele dag earbuds in of koptelefoon op te hebben.
Daarnaast geeft de microfoon mijn stem goed, helder en natuurlijk weer. En last but not least prima build quality en ziet hij er geweldig uit.
Ik ben heel enthousiast.
In december 2020 gekocht voor mijn onlinelessen met ZOOM omdat leerlingen mij niet verstonden als ik mijn hoofd draaide. De microfoon doet het perfect. Zelfs op een paar meter afstand met de rug naar de microfoon, ben ik nu goed te verstaan. Mooi klein apparaatje, en inderdaad heel simpel aan te sluiten door de kabel in de laptop te steken. Hij staat op mijn bureau. Een statief heb ik niet nodig. In Zoom moest ik wel een andere optie kiezen voor de microfoon. Tot op heden geen klachten alleen maar complimenten. De service was prima. Ondanks corona gewoon op tijd bezorgd. (4 maart 2021)

Voor de rest het uiterlijk vond ik wel heel gaaf om te zien, ook de verstelbare pootjes zijn erg handig als je deze microfoon gebruikt.
Ik geef deze microfoon twee sterren omdat ik het uiterlijk en het gemak daarvan wel heel gaaf vind, anders was dit product in mjin ogen voor een Windows 10 gebruiker maar één ster waard.
