General
This is a special stroboscope controller for the FL 1800 or the FL 045B by Geni. The controller can control up to four stroboscopes, allowing you to synchronise them. This creates a beautiful effect and a higher light production, because the light yield of all the stroboscopes is now combined. The controller comes without a mono jack-jack cable, which is separately available in different lengths.

Hoewel dit een eenvoudige, goedkope en prima werkende controller voor een analoge (6.3mm jack aansluiting ipv dmx) stroboscoop is, zou ik hem aan niemand aanraden. Het volledig uit plastic bestaande apparaatje is fragiel, erg licht, de knoppen voelen goedkoop en het lukt niet eens om hem vlak op tafel te leggen. Maar het vervelendste van dit ding is dat als je hem laat vallen, hij direct kapot is.
Een veel beter alternatief is de Showtec SC-10 (helaas niet verkrijgbaar via Bax-Shop). Deze biedt voor een min of meer vergelijkbare prijs stevigheid door een volledig metalen behuizing, betere knoppen en als leuke extra een ingebouwde microfoon, waardoor deze controller op de muziek kan reageren. De Showtec controller heeft alleen geen 'trigger'-knop (1 druk op de knop snelste standje flitsen).

Heb je een Geni Fl 1800 Stroboscoop? Twijfel dan niet langer, en neem er gelijk een afstandsbediening bij. De functies werken perfect.
Laat de controller alleen niet vallen, want dan is hij gelijk kapot en kan je een nieuwe kopen.
