General
The CD-60 V3 is an upgrade Walnut edition of the incredibly popular and surprisingly inexpensive Fender CD Series. This steel-string acoustic is developed for beginners who want to start seriously honing their skills. The laminated body is shaped by a mahogany back and sides and a spruce top, while the nato neck and walnut fretboard and bridge complete this dreadnought that you simply can't go wrong with. Conveniently enough, this particular CD-60 V3 comes including a matching Fender case.
The CD-60 V3: A Comfortable Acoustic
The combination of wood types gives this guitar a classic rich fullness of foundation sound only delivered by a Dreadnought-shaped body. This is accented by a roundness in the higher registers while there's more than enough attack to the overall tone. Finger pick or play with a plectrum, all with a comfortable C-profile neck in the palm of your fret hand. The CD-60 V3 Walnut comes with a standard set of acoustic .012-gauge strings installed, that, due to the 25.3-inch scale length, take on a lot less tension than most standard acoustics meaning that the playability feels lighter and needs less pressure to hold notes and chords. This Fender acoustic is built to ease any beginner into comfortable guitar playing.
