General

Ever since its introduction, the L1 concept by Bose created quite a stir. Is it really possible to fit a complete setup for both monitoring and PA amplification into such a compact system? We know now that the Bose L1 Model 1S system, with the B1 bass module, is a complete amplification setup. With 375 Watts, an array column with 12 tweeters and a double-coned bass module, it offers enough tonal force for an audience of up to 300 people, at Bose quality!

Bose L1 Model 1S: PA and Monitor System Combined

It sure sounds simple enough - combine a dozen speakers in a vertical setup with a compact bass module, and power them with an amplifier in the base. Bose adds a hefty dose of their high-tech prowess. Thanks to Spatial Dispersion and Articulated Array technology, the L1 Model 1S system offers a wide projection of 195 x 15 degrees. Artists and audience alike can enjoy an always-consistent, balanced natural tone. You'll hear the exact same sound as your audience. Forget about breaking your back over a cumbersome PA system and all its separate components. Should more entertainers perform simultaneously, they can each bring their own L1.

Expandable

Based on the application, you can add a second bass module or the larger B2 version. Moreover, thanks to the optional T1 ToneMatch audio engine, several inputs are added, along with numerous effects, scenes and ToneMatch presets. Particularly practical are the Power Stand's retractable legs. Setting it up or taking it down can be done in seconds rather than minutes. Fully installing it only takes up a few minutes thanks to the clever locking system that eliminates the use of separate cables or stands. Bose combined light yet rugged materials with high-quality speaker components. The result is a mobile PA system that will persuade hundreds of people at a time (including the artist).
