These grills should be a standard fitting with these speakers - they are exactly the same as the detachable front of the speakers with some mesh to protect the cones to cover the holes. It is ridiculous to charge close to £25 for a pair of grills which, once fitted, also leave you with two large bits of, now, redundant plastic.

KRK should go green, help save the world, and use these grills as standard - even charging an extra £10 or £15 for the speakers would still make them worth it if the grills were already part of the speakers And if some people prefer not to have mesh protecting their speaker cones then let them be detachable.

Purchased to protect the speaker cones and they do the job well. Magnets are really strong so they hold very secure.

Great protection for the speaker cones. A very secure fit, using a combination of magnets and alignment posts. They don't line up seamlessly with the speaker edges once fitted, but then neither do the stock faceplates. Speaking of which, these do not fit OVER the stock plates as I expected - they replace them, which means you have to find somewhere to store the originals once you take them off.

Nice items, though very expensive for what they are. I begrudgingly bought them as kids and cones don't mix well, but they're expensive and they don't look nearly as good on the speakers as the stock ones do - they make the cones look much less yellow.

De monitors klinken zo uit de doos al aardig goed. Met de app is de juiste afstelling simpel te doen. Scheelt een hoop gedoe. En nu klinken zij mooi neutraal en gedefinieerd. Ik twijfel nog of ik er t.z.t. een sub aan toe zal voegen. Zo op het eerste gehoor heb ik dat niet nodig. Eerst maar eens wat mixen produceren en beoordelen op verschillende installaties.

Ik ben er blij mee.
- Protectie voor mijn monitors in de thuis studio waar ook de kat rondloopt.
