General

The Electro Harmonix Chillswitch - previously known as the Electro Harmonix Killswitch - allows for a whole new range of effects. That’s quite remarkable, as the pedal does nothing more than mute your signal. For as long as you keep the foot switch pressed down, the Chillswitch either mutes your guitar amplifier signal or (de)activates your effects loop.

The possibilities of the EHX Chill Switch

In the former case, the Chillswitch allows you to dress up your guitar sound with interesting tremolo effects. In the latter case, you can add an instant shot of distortion, for instance. The Chill Switch is equipped with two rotary switches (engage and send), which enable you to determine the routing of your signal and the effect once the pedal is activated. The EHX Chillswitch is powered by a 9-volt battery or an optional adapter.

Electro Harmonix Chillswitch line selector pedal
Wrote the following about Electro Harmonix Chillswitch line selector pedal

Late last year, Electro Harmonix introduced the Crash Pad Analog Drum Synth, and at NAMM 2016 they'll be unleashing the Super Space Drum. Where the Crash Pad creates electronic cymbal sounds, the Space Drum generates a typically '80s drum sound - electronic yet warm and full of character.
