Product no: S-ECM-674 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

If you're looking for the best possible audio quality, Sony's condenser microphones are worth looking into. This ECM-674 condenser shotgun microphone is a so-called electret (a hybrid of electric and magnetic) microphone. Whether you're using this microphone on location or in the studio, ultra-clear sound is guaranteed. Featuring a dynamic range of 107 dB, it registers even the smallest audio waves, making it the ideal companion for Sony's HDV, DVCAM and XDCAM camcorder series.

A wide range of options

The ECM-674 is remarkably energy-efficient, so your battery lasts for a particularly long time. As it is highly sensitive, the microphone is capable of registering your voice loud and clear even in the noisiest environments. Thanks to the flat-and-wide frequency response, the ECM674 produces a sound that is quite natural and warm, and with a weight of only 208 grams and a length of 26.8 cm, the Sony shotgun mic can easily be transported.

Two-way power supply and more

The ECM 674 is equipped with a two-way power supply. You can power the microphone by means of batteries or microphone power. The integrated low-cut filter switch enables you to prevent noise and other unwanted sounds from tainting your recordings. The ECM 674 is fitted with a detector that monitors the outgoing battery voltage and switches it off, as it were, when it drops below a certain level. This prevents the battery from leaking fluids, which could cause permanent damage to your microphone. You'll be able to enjoy your Sony ECM 674 for a long time to come!
