The Maruszczyk Jake is the epic culmination of the more than 40 years of experience of founder, Adrian Kuban-Maruszczyk. This bass is shaped by modern P-style punch and contemporary playing comfort. The distinct sound is mainly due to the chambered ash body which not only makes the Maruszczyk a little lighter but adds particular resonance. The bolted neck is sculpted from robust maple that sits snug in your hand while the more flat 12-inch fretboard radius plays with supple speed.

The high-quality electric bass has been specially developed to excel in professional environments like the stage and studio but somehow manages to keep the price low. The Jake is mounted with a PC4AL split-coil from the ever popular Delano and ensures a full, classic P-style amplified sound with a kick of extra definition and more than enough dynamic response, so all the old-school grooves, as well as more modern, thunderous and driving bass lines, are given the voice they deserve.

Felicitaties aan Adrian Maruszczyk en zijn team, zij leveren prachtig werk.
Eén minpuntje : sinds ik deze bass heb, ga ik veel te laat slapen.
De sound is precies wat je van een P-bass mag verwachten. Deze bass pushed, is aanwezig in de sound van je band en de pick-ups zijn muisstil. Geen knor of brom te horen. Totdat je de snaren aanslaat, dan is laat deze bass van zich horen. Helder of juist diep en rond, helemaal afhankelijk van de setting van je toonregelaar. De fret bij de kam is een leuk detail, het verkleint het verschil tussen open snaren en dezelfde noot een snaar lager. Het verkleint het verschil, het is er nog wel. Voor mij een perfecte aanvulling van P-bass tussen mijn J-basses
