The Fender American Geddy Lee Signature Jazz Bass is sure to please Rush fans and bass enthusiasts. It combines the features and specs of Lee's two Fender Custom Shop bass guitars and his original '72 Jazz Bass, which has suffered a long life on stage. Both the bassist and his bass are iconic, meaning the sound of this bass is the result of over 40 years of experience.

Authenticity and Playability

Geddy Lee knows exactly how to make a bass guitar special. The fat, C-profile nack allows for a more natural grip and comfortable playing while white bindings and pearloid block inlays provide contrasting detail to the black body. There's little to complain about in the tonal department, since the mounted Custom Voiced American Vintage '70s Geddy Lee pickups are specially designed to sound like Lee's '72 Jazz Bass: thundering and alive. The bridge has extra mass, contributing to the detailed tone and perfect intonation.
