General

Effecten zijn tegenwoordig niet meer weg te slaan bij de mixers. Maar er zit een groot verschil tussen de processor in een Mackie en degene die in andere merken terug te vinden zijn. De meeste merken kiezen ervoor om een goedkope en simpele 16-bit's processor in te bouwen maar Mackie doet dit toch wel even anders. Zij maken gebruiken van een 32-bit processor die in staat is om zeer goed klinkende effecten te genereren. De keuze uit de effecten is niet overdreven maar daardoor wel heel erg goed. Het is namelijk zo dat er zestien effecten ingebouwd zitten die zeer goed zijn uitgewerkt. De effecten zijn af te regelen met de draaiknoppen en daardoor is het mogelijk om de effecten precies zo af te stellen dat ze precies bij uw opname of geluidsversterking passen.

Maar de hoeveelheid in- en uitgangen zorgt er ook voor dat de mixer breed inzetbaar is. Er zijn namelijk acht volwaardige XLR microfoon ingangen die er voor zorgen dat u zowel een band als een koor kunt opnemen of versterken. Daarnaast is het ook mogelijk om ieder kanaal te equalizen met de driebands equalizer met sweep. Ook is het mogelijk om het volledige eindsignaal te bewerken met de negenbands equalizer. Helemaal rechtsonder vind u de vier sub-groepen die ervoor zorgen dat u een tweede geluidsset aan kunt sturen of de vloermonitoren van signaal kunt voorzien.
