The ION Block Rocker Bluetooth portable sound system turns every party into a success and makes every presentation audible. This compact speaker has Bluetooth on board, which allows you to stream music wirelessly from every audio source. Block Rocker Bluetooth: easy to connect
Coupling a Bluetooth device to the Block Rocker is no rocket science. Via one touch of the button you can couple devices without having to use any codes. This allows you to let your music from a Bluetooth source, ring out through the room loud and clear. If you have something to add yourself you can use the included microphone. The built-in rechargeable battery can last up to 50 hours at low volume. At a high volume it will still last about a day, which is remarkable for a battery-powered speaker in this price range.
USB port and built-in radio
The Block Rocker knows what to do with MP3 players without Bluetooth via the jack connector. Moreover, the USB port can supply a plethora of devices with fresh energy. If you don’t feel like listening to your own music for a while you can simply turn on the built-in digital AM/FM radio with its telescopic antenna. Generally a nice thing, good design...reasonably good sound.
I play mostly from my ipod and listen to the radio.
Ipod - when connected it for the first time - had issues with the cable. Was afraid either the cable or the whole in which you stick it were defect. Now it works ...
Radio - good.
BIG minus: the telescopic handle seem to be really wobbly, rather poor quality.
I have big expectations of this thing, but so far was not too impressed
Heerlijk ding om mensen mee te irriteren in het park of op het strand. Ook handig voor straatmuzikanten die net iets meer willen. Tevens leuk om zomaar ergens een dansfeestje te beginnen. Geluidskwaliteit is goed. De bluetooth interface werkt ook geweldig. Zelfs thuis gebruik ik m soms als muziekinstallatie bij de iMac. De trolly is handig. Batterijduur is tot slot fenomenaal.
Negatief
Erg zwaar apparaat (15 kg), er mist een handgreep bovenop, (als je m per fiets zou willen vervoeren), wieltjes zijn nogal krappy en radio + antenne enigszins ouderwets, tenzij WOIII uitbreekt, dan heb je toch wat om te luisteren.
Maatje van mij heeft hem wel! Pracht apparaat! mee op de boot, strand etc etc. IDEAAL!
Maar nog steeds een beetje jammer van de 199.. heb ik er net niet voor over..
Als hij nog een keer 170 wordt hij meteen door mij besteld.
PS blauwetand etc werkt allemaal ideaal, zo aangesloten op je iPhone, iPad, Android, alless etc.etc.
