The Fender CD-140S Natural and the CD-140SE in Natural and Black now also come in a matte satin finish, in addition to the existing high-gloss models. The satin finish really allows the beautiful wood grains to stand out and the sound produced is a little more open. Satin finishThe high-gloss lacquer has been omitted for a more natural look to complement the sound on the Fender CD-140S Natural (photo above), CD-140SCE Natural and CD-140SCE Black. Apart from the finish, nothing else has changed. They all have a solid spruce top, a Graphtec Nubone nut and saddle, and a rosewood bridge and fretboard. Fender CD-140S and CD-140SCEThe CD-140S is completely acoustic while the CD-140SCE is fitted with the Fishman Presys EQ system for amplification. The guitars are keenly priced and are great instruments to learn on. The mahogany body produces a full sound with sparkling highs. The Fender CD-140SCE has a cutaway in the body so that even the highest of the twenty frets are easy to play. For more information about these Fenders and others, look at the product pages.
