Mackie Introduces CR4BT and CR5BT Monitors with Bluetooth Support

Less is more, especially when it comes to cables; that's what Mackie must have thought when they came up with the CR4BT and CR5BT monitor sets, which allow you to stream audio via Bluetooth.

Bridging the gap between professional and home use

With the CR4BT and the CR5BT, Mackie effectively bridges the gap between professional users and home users who need their monitors for entertainment ends only. In essence, these new monitors combine the best of Mackie's CR3 and CR4 series. They are equipped with high-grade components that deliver that extra touch you need for a truly amazing audio experience. The CR5BT, for instance, features a large, 5" woofer that's perfect for post-production jobs such as audio and video editing. The CR4BT's woofer is only slightly smaller, measuring 4".

Practical features and extras

For their new monitor series, Mackie sure has thought of everything. On the front panel you'll find a practical Bluetooth LED that shows you the pairing status with other Bluetooth devices, as well as an aux input that enables you to connect other audio sources. What makes the monitors truly unique, however, is a left/right powered speaker placement switch that allows you to choose which side of your setup has volume control. The monitor's volume knob also controls the volume level for the headphone output, which is conveniently located on the front panel as well.
