Use the Tascam DP-008EX Digital Pocketstudio 8-track to make multi-track recordings wherever you are. This remarkably compact recorder offers 8 fully-fledged mono tracks with rugged hardware controls for volume, stereo placement and reverb. With the DP-008EX you can record microphones and instruments via XLR and 6.3mm inputs on up to two tracks simultaneously. You don't always have to cable a mic up since the recorder is equipped with two built-in condenser microphones that deliver outstanding sound quality.
Recording and Mixing with the DP-008EX
The DP-008EX records each track separately in CD-grade quality to the included 2GB SD card, or to your own SD/SDHC card of up to 32 GB. Various editing functions are available per track, including cut, paste, move and duplicate. If you want to free up tracks on the Tascam DP-008 EX, then you can bounce multiple tracks to one. After the tracks have been mixed, you can send the stereo mix to your PC or Mac via the USB output of the recorder. The icing on the cake is the built-in metronome and tuner.
A Recorder with Extras.
Monitoring is possible via a 3.5mm headphone output or via RCA outputs, and the DP-008EX can be powered by means of four AA batteries or a separately available power adapter. Additionally, the recorder features a number of great extras, such as insert effects for each input, including a 2-band equalizer, compressor, exciter and de-esser. Effects such as multi-band compressor and normalize can be applied to the master mix.

I had the previous model but was tempted by the addition of the mastering section and it was totally worth the purchase. My demos now sound so much better.
Amazing value. The only thing is youll need to buy a power supply as it doesnt come with one.
Bediening vergt was leeswerk en gewoon proberen. Maar het kleine apparaat biedt meer opties dan je verwacht. En binnen een uurtje en wat nadenken kun je aan de slag :)
