As the name suggests, the Epiphone F-5 Studio mandolin has an F-style design and takes after classic designs by none other than Epiphone-founder Anastasio Stathopoulo, Gibson-founder Orville Gibson, and master-builder Lloyd Loa.
While Epiphone are better known for their extensive range of guitars, more than a hundred years ago, its founder, Epi Stathopoulo was busy building mandolins in his workshop in Long Island. This is the Epiphone A-style MM-30S.
