General

The Lauten Audio Signature Series Clarion FC-357 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with three different pickup patterns: cardioid, omni-directional and bi-directional. Loaded with Multi-Voicing technology, the Clarion is basically three microphones in one, offering three outspoken timbres. In Forward mode, the signal is subtly boosted from the 5,000 Hz and up, adding even more definition and air to the sound. Gentle mode on the other hand does practically the opposite and carefully tempers the highs, which can be greatly beneficial when recording tambourines and cymbals for example. Naturally, the FC-357 also has a Neutral voicing and comes complete with a shock mount and case.
