The Yamaha PSR-SX900 is the most comprehensive FSB keyboard in the Yamaha PSR Series workstation keyboards. With 61 keys, 1873 sounds, 525 styles, a chord looper, touchscreen display and Bluetooth, you're fully prepared for all professional tasks ahead. The SX900 is the SX700's big brother and can offer that final boost to your performance since it has more sounds available, a chord looper, Bluetooth and more storage capacity.
PSR-SX900: New functions
The 7-inch touchscreen gives you complete control over the power packed inside this professional keyboard. Use it to effortlessly assign functions and actions to buttons and pedals. The PSR-SX900 has been equipped with genuinely authentic sounds and styles and the new Right Part 3 button lets you combine up to three sounds. The drum sounds have been overhauled and upgraded as well and are based on the Revo! Drums by Yamaha Genos. Play along with your favourite tracks via Bluetooth and your smartphone or record your own audio files in either WAV or MP3 format.
Plenty of horsepower
Whether you want to use the PSR-SX900 to arrange parts at home or to perform live with your band, this workstation keyboard has plenty of horsepower. With 4GB of user memory and another available gigabyte of memory for your expansion packs, you can shape it into a custom music creation tool. Redesigned speakers ensure a broad yet precise sound and the two sub-line outputs can be used to send out your bass signals.

Ik kocht het toestel om veel expansion packs te kunnen installeren, van Yamaha en van andere leveranciers. De Sx700 zou mijn eerste keuze geweest zijn, maar deze heeft een veel kleiner expansion memory. Daarom koos ik voor de Sx900.
Het prijsverschil tussen deze twee voelt wel erg groot aan, terwijl beide keyboards veel eigenschappen lijken te delen. dit vind ik een sterretje minder waard, ik zou anders 5 sterren geven. Dit is niet nieuw, ook in vorige PSR series hanteerde Yamaha zo'n groot prijsverschil.
De upgrade van mijn oude PSR-S750 naar deze SX900 is tastbaar, maar toch ook wel minder spectaculair dan ik gedacht had. Ook daarom 4 in plaats van 5 sterretjes.
Besluitend kan ik zeggen dat het een fantastisch keyboard is met veel expansion memory zodat je zelf klanken kunt toevoegen. Ik speel inmiddels al met een looi aantal nieuwe expansion packs en dat is heel fijn. Alleen de prijs voelt in verhouding met de SX700 en in verhouding tot de upgrade van mijn vorige keyboard relatief hoog aan. Gelukkig had Bax hier op het moment van aankoop een kleine promo op de site! Kortrol: 5 sterren voor Bax, 4 voor de SX900 🙂
De mogelijkheden lijken wel onbeperkt.
En je kan heel wat settings opslaan.
Zelf vind ik een knopje ontbreken:( vind je wel op bvb een dgx670 (single knopje) de mogelijkheid om bij de styles enkel de Baslijn en de drums te laten spelen zonder dit zelf te moeten instellen in de mixer.
Het klavier voelt goed aan.
Je kan de klank mooi aanpassen naar eigen smaak.
De overstap van Tyros 2 die al erg goed was , is dit overweldigend zoveel meer speelplezier ik ervaar.
Een echte aanrader , zeker voor de prijs die hij kost .
Joystick werkt perfect, hij is duidelijk profesioneler dan de vorige PSR keyboards.
Voor mij is dit een aanrader.

J'avais quelques craintes sur mon choix car mon arrangeur précédant était un Tyros3 devenu un peu trop encombrant de par sa taille.
Après quelques heures d'utilisation de mon nouveau PSRSX900 je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat, il est super, le toucher tactile est top et le son très correct. De plus il est possible de télécharger gratuitement sur le site Yamaha plus de 400 styles à ajouter dans la playlist.
