Product no: 9000-0032-6428 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

Ketron is an Italian company whose keyboards are characterised by their highly-realistic sounds. The SD9 is a top-quality 76-note workstation keyboard that matches up to anything else in its price class. It not only has more options than the smaller SD7, it not only has more keys but they're semi-weighted too. There are 368 preset voices, 670 GM sounds and 300 accompaniment styles on board. Grand pianos, vintage electronic pianos and organs with fast and slow rotor samples are all present. There are 100 live guitars patterns as well as a huge number of excellent drum loops and percussive grooves. With 700 MB of free space on board, you'll be able to save your extra sounds and presets.

Intuitive control

The combination of comprehensive controls and a 7-inch touchscreen with icons make the SD9 easy to use. Using launchpad, you can set 12 pads with 6 scenes each and give separate sections their own style, allowing you to vary sounds when playing live. You can use existing styles, adjust them or even make your own. It's also possible to import and convert styles from older Ketron models and with the MY List you have direct access to 64 favourite styles.

More options

As you'd expect from a workstation keyboard in this price class, the SD9 offers plenty of possibilities. Play Modes, for instance, automatically adjusts the keybaords settings to make it easy for pianists, organists or accordianists. There's also a music player that recognises file types like WAV and MP3, including song texts. The SD9 even has a microphone section so that you can mix vocals into the sound and even add 3-part harmonies. If you're a professional entertainer, the SD9 is ideal but really anyone, anywhere would be able enjoy all that it has to offer.
