Developed for more ambitious Windows and MacOS users recording at home, the UA Apollo Solo Heritage Edition Thunderbolt 3 interface puts pro-grade performance and hardware-based UAD plugins directly on your desktop. Since the plugins are run by the interface via a progressive DSP, the load on your computer's processing power is lifted completely. Courtesy of Unison technology and via the Console 2.0 app, you get the pick of vintage preamp and guitar amplifier emulations that have been plucked straight out of the golden age that was the sixties and seventies. And since the Apollo features digitally run preamps, no matter what you're plugging in, they automatically respond and adjust the impedance to match the signal type, supporting a more-than-convincing dynamic response.

Wrote the following about Universal Audio Apollo Solo Heritage Edition Thunderbolt 3 Audio Interface (PROMO)

Ik was toe aan een nieuw onderdeel in mijn universal audio systeem. Dus vanwege de mobiliteit (geen voeding nodig!) leek de solo me wel wat om mijn twin te vervangen voor onderweg. De prijs was goed voor de heritage bundle en ik was nog net op tijd voor de promo van uaudio voor allerlei extra plugins.

Ik betaalde 2,50 extra bij voor bezorging bij een postnl punt. Dat is een drama geworden doordat bax helaas de verkeer de postcode heeft gebruikt bij het verzenden EN vervolgens een PostNL medewerker deed alsof dit pakket niet bezorgd was op het postnl punt. Uiteindelijk is met dreigen aangifte te doen van diefstal dat pakket na een week boven water gekomen. Maar doordat er een week voorbij was heb ik niet meer de promo plugins van universal audio ontvangen. Hopelijk is de klantenservice van uaudio coulant.

De interface zelf is heel prettig. De tb3 kabel moet je zelf kopen. (2 tientjes op Amazon.). Maar dan werkt het ook gewoon als een trein. De kwaliteit is super. De software van uaudio heeft een wat steile learning curve als je het nog niet kent. Maar als het kwartje valt wil je eigenlijk niet meer anders.

Dus 5 sterren voor deze interface.
Maar minpunten voor de verzending en de afhandeling.
Ik denk niet dat ik nog bij Bax zal bestellen op deze manier.
