DBX's equalisers are the industry standard when it comes to touring, studio applications and audio installations. That makes sense considering the consistent high-quality performances of DBX during the last forty years. The 215S employs DBX's famous pro EQs. It can take up the most demanding sound amplifier situations. Yet, it has simple controls which are really easy to use.

A quick survey of the 215S

The DBX 215S has two 15-band channels with 2/3 octave equalisation. This is combined with ±12 dB input amplification and a switchable ±6 dB or ±12 dB boost/cut range. The sliders are 20 mm long and are non-conductive. All of this results in an intuitive user interface. This is complemented by VU meters for the output. The 215S has a wide frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 kHz. The components have a high quality considering the dynamic range of 112 dB, with accurate attention for detail.
