General

With the Electro Harmonix Knockout, you can make your guitar sound like another model or simply add more body.

How does the Electro Harmonix Knockout work?

In essence, the Knockout shapes the mids of your sound. Thanks to a number of filters, you're able to add to or detract from the bottom end, and sculpt the top end of your mids. The filters boost your lows and enhance your highs without sacrificing any definition.

Clean or distorted

Combine the EHX Knockout with a distortion pedal if you want to add more punch to your sound. Alternatively, play a clean tone using a humbucker pickup, and the Knockout makes it sound like a single-coil pickup. That means you don't have to change guitars or pickups to add some diversity to your sound.

With the Electro Harmonix Knockout attack equalizer, you can finally enjoy that edge you've been looking for.

NAMM 2016: Back to the '80s with Electro Harmonix

Late last year, Electro Harmonix introduced the Crash Pad Analog Drum Synth, and at NAMM 2016 they'll be unleashing the Super Space Drum. Where the Crash Pad creates electronic cymbal sounds, the Space Drum generates a typically '80s drum sound - electronic yet warm and full of character. It can be used as either a standalone unit, or in combination with a looper or clock generator, for instance.
