Algemeen:
De Transient Designer 2 van SPL heeft werkt met de laatste technieken voor onafhankelijke signaal correctie. Een transient designer maakt het mogelijk om de attack en de sustain van een audio signaal aan te passen, de zogenaamde transienten. Hierdoor ontstaat meer ruimte in de mix.

Dit werkt voornamelijk op drums. Snare's en kicks krijgen meer ruimte in de mix en hi-hats klinken nog helderder. De Transient Designer 2 is de kleine broer van de Transient Designer 4. Hij heeft maar twee ingangen in plaats van vier zoals zijn grote broer.
