Electronic cymbals are, just like snare & tom pads, electronic drum kit parts. These so-called cymbal pads imitate the sound of the cymbals on an acoustic drum kit. They have the same exact shape, but are made of rubber. When you hit them, they sends an electrical signal to your drum module, which then reproduces a digital version of a cymbal sound (or any other sound you want it to make). These electronic cymbals all differ in playing feel and level of difficulty. Usually, the more expensive ones tend to simulate the response of an actual cymbal, and possess more zones, which means that you'll get different sounds depending on whether you hit the edge or the middle of the cymbal. We also offer hybrid cymbals, which look a lot like acoustic ones, but produce less volume. Hi-hats come with a special digital hi-hat pedal.
