The Baretta Special from Kramer Guitars' Original Collection offers an affordable introduction to one of the most influential guitars in rock 'n' roll history! As an electric guitar with a mahogany body mounted with a single slanted Alnico 5 humbucker, the Baretta Special is able to deliver full and forceful sound. In addition, Kramer Guitars have given the model a maple neck with a modern 12-inch radius and 22 medium frets, and it's this combined with the slim neck profile that braces the guitar for fat riffs and face-melting solos.

Niet alleen voor de beginner maar ook voor de gevorderde gitaristen.
Na wat afstellen van het een en ander nog beter.
Hierover is genoeg op YouTube te vinden en tevens wat modificaties die niet veel kosten.
Heb de D'Addario PW-LBK-01 LubriKit Nut Sauce voor het eerst gebruikt met volle tevredenheid.
Ga het tevens bij andere gitaren toepassen.
De volumeknop heb ik inmiddels vervangen voor een chrome knop.
Dit is puur een kwestie van smaak.
Net nieuwe snaren erop gezet en deze Kramer is zeker een blijvertje.
Hele fijne dunne hals, heerlijke retro vormgeving met niet meer opties dan nodig.
De bouwkwaliteit is top. Geen fretbuzz of scherpe randen en de body zit uitstekend in de lak.
De blauwe metallic kleur is in het echt mooier dan op de foto. De tremelo is vrij stijf, maar door er een veer uit te halen (zitten er 3 in) is deze toegankelijker en heeft bij mij verder geen problemen opgeleverd zodat de brug niet opnieuw hoefde te worden afgesteld. De gitaar heeft wel wat tuning isssues bij het gebruik van de tremelo arm. Door het vervangen van de plastic topkam/nut door een Graphtech nut schijnt dit opgelost te zijn, iets wat ik nog ga proberen. De humbucker heeft wat mij betreft een heerlijke metal sound en voldoet uitstekend. Als vervent Ibanez fan ben ik in ieder geval blij verast door deze gitaar zowel qua speelbaarheid, bouwkwaliteit, looks als sound, maar zeer zeker ook door de prijs!
Goed geprijst.
