The Tribute Legacy in Surf Green is a stylishly tasteful electric guitar built by the renowned G&L brand. This trusty Tribute Series instrument is the perfect step up for advanced amateurs and doesn't set them back a small fortune either. The body of the Legacy is shaped like that of the definitive icon of guitar history, with the headstock adding a unique twist to the ST-style design. To ensure a comfortable playing experience, regardless of the size of your hands, G&L have bolted on a C-profile neck.
The Multi-Faceted Tribute Legacy
Of course, the sound of the G&L Tribute is what it's all about. The electronic heart of the guitar sits right in the middle of the tortoise-shell pickguard and is made of a classic configuration of three single-coil pickups. These high-grade CLF-100 Alnico Vs pack all of that well-known single-coil clarity but with an added dose of punch. The versatile amplified sound can be further enriched with subtle vibratos using the Leo Fender-designed Dual Fulcrum tremolo.
G&L Guitars
The G&L Musical Instruments brand is named after the first names of its founders: George Fullerton and Leo Fender. The latter, obviously a guitar industry icon, considered the G&L designs to be his best creations and while the guitars from G&L resemble much of Leo Fender's earlier work, they have received various modern upgrades. Both the premium USA Series and the affordable Tribute Series are widely appreciated by musicians all over the world.

Enige echte minpunt zat dit keer helaas bij bax. Ik heb vaak genoeg kabels, bassnaren en andere spullen online gekocht en in de winkel een mooie fender jazz bass, nooit problemen gehad. Deze gitaar online gekocht nadat ik er 1 in een winkel had geprobeerd en er nog even over had nagedacht (en andere gitaren had geprobeerd). Als ik hem in de winkel moest ophalen was ik een halve dag kwijt en normaal is verzenden altijd in orde bij bax... Maar dit was de eerste en laatste keer dat ik een gitaar laat bezorgen. Allereerst bieden ze avondbezorging aan, maar daar bleek het te groot voor en dus werd het, zonder melding, overdag bezorgd. Niet echt fijn om zo'n groot en kostbaar pakket onaangekondigd bij de buren te laten bezorgen... Verder was de doos waar de gitaar in zat, los/deels open gekomen (als die al dicht heeft gezeten) waardoor hij ruimte had in de ompakdoos van bax. Wonder boven kwam de gitaar er haast perfect uit (heel klein plekje op eind toets, net na topkam, mogelijk niet eens door het verzenden en zodanig klein dat ik dat geen probleem vind), maar echt geruststellend was dat niet. Vervolgens een mailtje gestuurd naar bax, maar ik ben nu 2 weken verder en nog steeds geen antwoord...
Topgitaar dus, maar niet online bestellen, gewoon ouderwets zelf ophalen.
