General
Some of the biggest hits in pop history feature a driving rhythmic beat that originated from a drum machine. Korg's analogue Volca Beats drum machine places a wide selection of rhythms at your fingertips and has a retro-style look. Program the built-in step sequencer and let the party begin!
Kick, Snare, Tom, Hi-Hat
Making a good drum part can be simple with the Korg Volca Beats. It has a user-friendly interface with rotary knobs to adjust the sound of the kick, snare, tom and hi-hat. The full, analogue sound of this tweakable drum machine can be augmented by built-in PCM sounds such as claps and crashes. The integrated stutter effect adds a lot of dynamics and brings your tracks to life.
In Sync
The traditional MIDI input enables you to operate the Volca from an external controller and the headphone output enables you to practice in silence. One of the best things about the Volca Beats is that it can be synced with two other Korg tabletops via the sync input and output. When combined with the Volca Bass and Volca Keys, you'll have a remarkably compact but complete electro setup that will serve all your pop, dance and urban music needs!
