With the HDJ 500s, Pioneer offers a great set of DJ headphones for use in the studio, or even just for everyday listening. The HDJ 500s are stylish, comfortable headphones with great sound quality and an attractive price tag.
HDJ 500 design
Pioneer designed the HDJ 500s with the HDJ 2000s in mind - a fact that is clear in the design. With the HDJ 500s, Pioneer managed not only to create stylish headphones, but to offer a product that is comfortable and easy to use. The earpads are made from urethane and feature quality leather cushions, so you know you can count on comfort during long listening sessions whether you're on the road or working on a set.
The sound
Most importantly, the HDJ 500s deliver excellent sound quality with bright lows and mids, making them ideal for DJs. They come with 40mm drivers and are available in white, red and black.

De HDJ-500 is een hoofdtelefoon die goed geluid levert. De bijgeleverde kabels zijn lekker lang en de kussentjes lijken maar niet te verslijten.
Nadeel: Het kans wel eens voorkomen dat er druk op de oren wordt gevoeld na gebruik van de HDJ-500.

Minpunten
- De koptelefoon is wel erg dik en steekt dus ver uit als je m op je hoofd hebt
- Ik gebruik nu de Philips A5 pro. Als ik nu deze Pioneer koptelefoon op zet vind ik het geluid ontzettend slecht klinken.
Ik gebruik hem achter de laptop en luister naar top 40
muziek en daar is deze uitermate geschikt voor.
