General

Line 6's Spider IV 15 15-Watt 1x 8-inch guitar combo is a proper all-rounder. With one press of a button you are able to switch between four programmable amplifier models: Clean, Crunch, Metal and Insane. The two steplessly variable Smart Control FX knobs allow you to smoothly move from Chorus to Tremolo and from Echo to Reverb. The integrated CD/MP3 input lets you play along with your favourite music or drum computer. For quiet recordings or when you just don't want to disturb anyone, a phones/record out output has been provided. The Line 6 Spider IV 15 also has a built-in tuner.

4 fully-programmable presets

The four channels (presets) of the Line 6 Spider IV 15 are fully programmable. You can set the drive, bass, mid, treble and channel volume differently per preset. You can also save one, two or no effects with every preset. The built-in Noise Gate and Boost can be switched on or off per preset as well. Programming is made easy with the Line 6 Spider IV 15.

Line 6 Spider IV 15: extensive connectivity

If you want to practice in silence, the Line 6 Spider IV 15 is equipped with a ¼-inch headphone output. You can also use this output for direct recordings via your PC or mixer. A drum computer, CD or MP3 player can be connected to the 1/8-inch CD/MP3 input. You will be able to play along to your favourite music or rhythms via the built-in speaker. The FBV pedal input is meant for the optional Line 6 FBV2 or FBV Express MKII (see tips). These allow you to switch between the four presets while you are at a distance from the speaker.

This 8-inch speaker allows you to pump 15 watts of music through your bedroom or studio.

Tips or comments about this product

Was mijn oude versterker ontgroeid.

The Blackstar Artist Series: Classic and Versatile

Monday 2 November 2015 By Richard | Bax Music

Blackstar has gone from a newcomer to an established name in a short space of time. One of their greatest assets is the Infinite Shape Feature or ISF circuit (as it's otherwise known) that they developed themselves. With the ISF circuit, Blackstar managed to greatly increase the versatility of tube amplifiers without the use of digital technology. The new Artist 15 and Artist 30 models both have an ISF circuit fitted and can produce the typical American 6L6 sound, as well as beloved British AC clean and crunch.

Wednesday 4 November 2015 By Richard | Bax Music

It's already been more than 10 years since VOX turned the amplifier world on its head with the Valvetronix series. This series of amps combined digital modelling technology with convincing tube sounds. Since then, models have slowly but steadily improved along with digital technology. Now however, the time is ripe for VOX to introduce another series that, rather than show another slow and steady improvement, offer something more like evolution accelerated. Meet the VT20X, the VT40X and the VT100X, the first three models from the new series.
