Boss ME-50B bass guitar multi-effect processor
Product no: ROL-ME-50B Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

If you're a bass player, the Boss ME-50B offers a range of powerful effects without hours of programming. Boss's high-grade effects won't let you down during a performance, and they're easy to control too boot.

Characteristics of the ME-50B

A proper sound starts with a compressor and EQ. The ME-50's compressor/limiter is equipped with COSM technology and offers natural compression. As such, it leaves each subtle nuance of your playing technique intact, but still delivers plenty of punch. Additionally, the Boss multi-effect processor features a three-band master EQ with a parametric mid section for accurate tonal shaping.

Multi-effects for your bass guitar

The ME-50B offers a range of effects, including an Octave-Up that adds a note one octave higher to every note you play. It's even possible to apply some overdrive to the octave notes. Also at your disposal are effects like Slow Gear, T-Wah and a Defretter, which makes your bass guitar sound like a fretless bass. Drive effects like Muff Fuzz, Bass Driver, Natural and Metal provide you with all the shredding options you need, while High Band limits distortion to the trebles so your lows stay nice and punchy. Synth basses are also part of the package, of course.

The ME-50B's Sound-on-Sound mode allows you to create your own backing track, or lets you take your arrangements to the next level. A Kick Drum function takes care of the basics, while you play loops over the beat. The processor's Sound Hold function, finally, sustains your last note indefinitely, allowing you to play over it.
