Vegas has always been a remarkably user-friendly package, and will certainly remain so in the future. Have you always wanted to edit your own video and/or audio? Vegas is a great first step, and may very well provide you with everything you'll ever need for your audio and video productions. If you already own a license for Sony Vegas, you can use this downloadable upgrade to take it to the next level: the mighty Sony Vegas Pro 13. This thirteenth edition of the audio and video editing software offers plenty of new options. It allows you to easily collaborate both online and offline, for instance, but it also speeds up the editing and rendering process by using smaller proxy files instead of their large XDCAM counterparts. Project Archiving is another heaven-sent feature, which enables you to back up your entire project, including media.

Additional features

The volume meters in this edition of Vegas comply with the CALM standards - a useful weapon in the infamous loudness war. The new practical Multi-tool places the functions you use most frequently underneath the timeline for quick and easy access. Additionally, Vegas Pro 13 comes with a number of great accessory effects, including NewBlueFX Video Essentials VI and the renowned iZotope Nectar Elements. Also present are DVD Architect 6 and Dolby Digital Professional Encoder, which means you can easily turn your film projects into DVD or Blu-ray discs.
