General

To accommodate future Spielbergs, Sony has composed an interesting software bundle. Imagination Studio 4 consists of smaller versions of Sony's large and award-winning software packages. Don't be fooled by the term 'smaller' - Imagination Studio 4 is likely to provide you with all the functionality you'll ever need. This budget-friendly collection offers you everything you require for small to medium-size video productions.

Movie Studio Platinum

Movie Studio Platinum allows you to make your own blockbuster motion pictures by placing one or more video files on a timeline. Once you've done that, you can start cutting, fading, moving - in other words, editing. Create a beautiful soundtrack to go with your visuals and the end result is even more stunning. Of course Movie Studio Platinum also allows you to add text to your videos and to create smooth transitions between video tracks by means of various wipes.

ACID Music Studio

This multi-track audio editor allows you to create your own music like they do in large music studios: track by track. Don't you have any musical skills? Don't worry; Sony provides you with an arsenal of music and musical loops that enable you to create a full-fledged soundtrack without any effort. A number of audio effects are at your disposal to add a bit of flavour to your productions.

Sound Forge Audio Studio

Whereas ACID Music Studio provides you with all the tools you need for your musical productions, Sound Forge Audio Studio can be used to record and edit sounds. Connect a microphone to your computer and you're able to create your own voice-overs or sound effects to go with your video productions.

DVD Architect Studio

Once you've finished you film, what could be more fun than making an actual DVD? DVD Architect Studio can help you out in that department. This package enables you to create DVD menus with buttons, just like the ones you find on DVDs that you buy in the store.
