To accommodate schools and colleges, Sony has introduced this educational 5-pack of Sony Acid Pro 7 audio editing software (download). The 5-pack offers the familiar Acid Pro 7 software, but provides you with five licenses for educational purposes for a very reasonable price.

The possibilities of Acid Pro 7

A short introduction for those who are not familiar with the audio editing software yet: Sony Acid Pro 7 enables you to make a complete mix of audio files. The software provides you with the necessary effects, but allows for the use of VST and/or DirectX effect plug-ins as well. Thanks to the inclusion of a video track, you're able to mix music and sound for video projects - an exceptionally useful feature in this day and age of abundant visuals. If you can't boast any particular musical talent, you can still create a decent soundtrack - simply use the 3,000+ included loops and play it by ear. In short, Sony's Acid Pro 7 is the ideal software for students with varying backgrounds.
