C542: wood types and sound

The Stagg C542 is a full-size classical guitar with some impressive features. The top, sides and back are made of basswood and it has a dark-tinted maple fretboard on its nato neck. The basswood body gives this guitar a sparkling tone and the nato wood on the neck adds a healthy dose of warmth to the overall sound. In short, the Stagg C542 is a joy to play for any beginning guitarist who is looking for a well-priced classical model to start on.
